WT102 - Batteryless LoRaWAN Thermostatic Radiator Valve - Milesight

The Milesight WT102 is a batteryless LoRaWAN thermostatic radiator valve designed for hydronic radiators. It uses energy harvesting through temperature difference to reduce maintenance constraints related to battery replacement.

Heating Regulation

The WT102 allows automatic or manual control of the ambient temperature. It integrates a temperature sensor and can support an external NTC probe depending on the installation. Open window detection and antifreeze protection functions contribute to heating management in connected buildings.

LoRaWAN Transmission

The thermostatic head transmits its data via LoRaWAN on the 868 MHz band. It is listed as Class A in the metadata fields, consistent with its low power consumption operation. It can be integrated with a LoRaWAN gateway and a compatible IoT platform.

Installation and Configuration

The WT102 is self-powered by energy harvesting when thermal conditions allow. It mounts on a radiator with an M30 x 1.5 mm connection. Configuration is possible via NFC, mobile application, or downlink.

Applications

This connected thermostatic head is suitable for multi-unit dwellings, commercial buildings, hotels, offices, and heating renovation projects where reduced maintenance is an important criterion.
